Step 1: Set up your ride’s plug settings
Launch the Google Maps app. Tap your profile pic and scroll down to the Settings entry.
Locate the Account Settings section. Expand the Electric vehicle settings option.
Choose your vehicle type plug [J1772, CCS (Combo 1), Type 2, CCS (Combo 2), CHAdeMO, Tesla, Wall socket, NACS (non-Tesla).

Go back to the main interface of the Google Maps on your device.
