Highlights on Instagram are analogous to Stories but unlike Stories that vanish after 24 hours, Highlights are pinned to your profile permanently until you chose to remove or delete them. So, you can easily find if it has been viewed by your followers or not. However, Instagram Highlights Views are available for 48 hours only. Thereafter, those stats are gone forever. That brings us to an important question – How to find out if anyone has viewed your Highlights or not? Well, here’s a walkthrough of that process.
How to check your Instagram Highlights Views count
Instagram Highlights offer an easy and convenient way to group your Instagram Stories into highlights and feature them on your profile. You can even edit these highlights periodically to keep them fresh and find the record of all those profiles that have viewed your Highlights in the viewers’ list. Launch the Instagram app and tap Your story icon visible in the upper-left corner of the app screen.
Select a video or an image from your image gallery and tap the Your story button.
When posted, a Highlight icon should appear as shown in the image below. Tap it to go to a new screen.
Hit the New button to add the posted image or video to the highlights.
Select a cover for your highlight and give it a name. Hit the Add button.
You’ll see a message reading Added to highlights. Tap the Done button to remove the message from the screen.
Once you finish, your highlight will appear as a circle on your profile and will play as a stand-alone story when someone taps it.
To see how many views your Instagram highlights have generated, tap the highlight that appears in a new section on your profile below your bio. Then, hit the Activity label at the bottom of the screen to find the list of all people that have viewed your highlight.
Note: You can choose any stories from your archive to add as a highlight.
